What a delightful storyteller you are! I will bookmark you for future enjoyment. As a PK, and one who cut her teeth on church pews, I certainly relate to a lot of your humorous experiences.

If you have time, pop over and visit my blog. Encouragement in Your Walk of Faith I'm not funny but I do have a few good topics. :)

Blessings!

It's a shame that faith is so often misunderstood. Baptism is a proof of faith in God and his son Jesus, and a demonstration "to the world" of your faith in them and your wish to follow their commandments.

Faith is the "evident demonstration of realities even if they are not not visible".

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."Hebrews 11:1

The so called blind faith does not really exist, because the concept of "blind faith" is wrong. More over, baptism means nothing if you dont have faith and do it by obligation.

Baptism should came from a person inner's wish to make a demonstration of his faith to others an to god:

"Be wise, my son, and make my heart glad, That I may reply to him who reproaches me" Proverbs 27:11

See? God's actually a person. He is glad to see your baptism. Do you think he will be glad if you take the baptism only because you want a toy?

That's why babies shouldn't be baptized. Child should be baptized only if they understand the implications and the motivation came from themselfs.

I just discovered your site yesterday. Your stories are wonderful!!! Thanks for the laughs. I needed a break from a very tedious website I am working on and the "Church on the way to Toys R Us" certainly woke me up.
