    The ideas of magic and mysticism are both useful in the theologies that traditionally employ them. But within the paradigm of postmodern romantic theology, neither idea in its traditional form fully works. In order to incorporate the essence of these two powerful tools, a new understanding of the idea of magic is necessary.
